*phew* Where to begin? DW started on the BBC around 1963. Its basic plot goes like this: There's a mysterious human-looking alien who goes by the name "The Doctor" (his real name's unknown), who travels through time and space in his ship called the TARDIS (which, due to an accident, is stuck looking like an old blue police box on the outside). The Doctor, along with his companion (usually a human), goes around and usually ends up saving people, worlds, and occasionally the universe.

Sounds kind of silly, but believe me, it's brilliant. :D Most people are watching the newer series (2005-present). Give it a try! :)

the title had me thinking this was fanart for the book by audrey niffenegger (just finished reading it last night)... :D

still very nice, even though i don't watch doctor who.

is the title reference to the book "the time traveller's wife" ? cos i thought they were really similar too . . . :)
