Samara Morgan in her little room at the EOLA Psychiatric Hospital. This was inspired by that rather chilling scene where Rachel watches time-lapse video of Samara standing around awake 24-7. I guess when you're evil incarnate, sleep isn't really that important.
I made the coloring and shape of the walls squiggly and sketchy in order to convey the sterile but uneasy feelings you might get when you're walking inside a hospital psych ward. The pictures on the wall are the negatives Samara made with her nensha powers, and the teddy bear has only one eye as a kind of, I dunno, foreshadowing.
Lyrics in picture are from "Engel" by Rammstein. "Une petit noir une" is the title of a Ringu fic that I've read, although this isn't a fanart of that.
This is so awesome. I was totally freaked out by that movie. That little girl was freaky as hell when she crawled out of the television. I think my heart died in that scene. Anyway, this is really cool. Keep up the good work!
OMG!! i LOVED the ring!! it was way awesome.. i've seen some of your other 'the ring' drawings, and i wanted to check out your other ones. this is great!!

A woman's arms tried to shield
The head of a sleeping man
From the jaws of the final beast.
